Skit Skat, How About That?
Yea Me! It’s happened again—I nailed the final Jeopardy question! I just love it when that happens. Last time, all the contestants missed it. Today? All three got it right—me included! I feel like I’m in good company.
Talk about the lazy days of summer—that’s exactly where I’m parked! Sitting on the porch, sipping iced tea. I want coffee, oh how I want coffee, but no sirree… it’s just too hot for that nonsense. Lol. I won’t be out here long, just a minute or two—because, again, it’s too hot!
Mr. D’s talking about going out to eat again today. But where? Your guess is as good as mine. No breakfast food or Tex-Mex, that’s for sure… we’ll probably decide when we’re halfway there!
A little reading, a little diamond art, a little blogging—and life just keeps humming along.

DeleteWe used to watch Jeopardy all the time. It is a good feeling to get that last one right. Haven't watched the show in many years now.

DeleteI love Jeopardy, but haven't seen it in some time. (Still deciding whether I like Ken Jennings, lol) I've been drinking a lot of iced coffee lately -- none of that fancy-schmancy ($$$) stuff, but cold brew in the carton.

DeletePS That picture was taken in our backyard, Dean and I are in the swing - I believe it was 1998. I also love the picture and had it made in an 8x10 which hangs in our bedroom. Precious times, precious memories!
DeleteGolly, it's hot here too! Yesterday my sweet Hubby and I were out running errands and decided to try a new Mexican restaurant for lunch. Oh yuck! The food was not good at all and certainly not worth the $30.00 plus tip. This is why we choose to eat at home almost all of the time.
ReplyDeleteI'm staying indoors too and planning for our trip in a little over a week. We'll be gone for a little over a month so lots to plan!

Well scientifically speaking... a hot coffee cools you off...doesn't heat you up. So, drink away.
ReplyDeleteIt also cuts strokes down by 50%. Lots of good things about coffee. I drink it daily rain or shine.
