Saturday Journal

Today’s Weather…

Sat 8/23

91° /76°

Partly sunny and humid, wind ENE @ 7 mph                         80% chance of scattered thunderstorms.

Out my window…the new house being built across the street is coming along, won’t be long before new neighbors will arrive!

On my mind...our grandson Matt, praying all works out for him on an issue he’s facing right now.

I am pondering these words...

From the kitchen…coffee, hmmm, it smells so good.

 I am wearing…black slacks and a purple/black print top

I am creating…another diamond art picture

I am going...to try to get to the beauty shop for a haircut soon.

 I am reading...blogs, something I enjoy.

I am hoping...this year brings no hurricanes our way. And for everyone living along the coast, I’m wishing the same calm and safety for you too.

I am hearing...the purr of my oxygen machine.

Around the house...I really need to dust.

A few plans for the rest of the week...nothing special, just live day by day as the Good Lord provides.

Today’s Scripture…

Philippians 4:19: "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Psalm 23:1: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

Thanks for visiting today♥

Blessings to All

 Until Next Time

  1. We always sang that song Praise God ..... when I was growing up in the Methodist church. I also learned the whole Psalm 23 by a song. I sang it to my babies and grandbabies when I rocked them in my rocking chair. I like your header and signature. Did you make those? I hope all goes well with your grandson.

  2. When I was a teen, I learned Psalm 100 in the Presbyterian Church and to this day I still remember it. That was about 50 years ago...I am now 68. The dust bunny sign made me laugh 😂 Praying 🙏 for Matt.

  3. In case of hurricanes, it's good to have your preps in order and not depend on the government. FEMA was gutted so folks are on their own. I always check The Canadian Prepper sites, which are a great source.
