Welcome
to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4..hosted by Annie.
Are you
ready for Autumn?
Monday,
September 22 was the Autumnal Equinox, the first day of the Autumn season.
Autumn is
the name of the season and fall is the term for the time of Autumn when leaves
begin to fall from the trees. Let's discuss it.....
1. Are
there pumpkins or chrysanthemums on your porch or are you planning on putting
some out?
Not yet,
but there will be soon!
2. Are
stores around you showing Autumn clothing and decor now? Here in New
Jersey, leaves on some trees are changing slowly and temperatures are way down
. What is it like in your neck of the woods?
Fall is
everywhere, except for the weather.
Still hot and humid, hopefully sweater weather will be here soon.
3. Do you
have plans for Thanksgiving yet?
The three daughters and
their husbands are off to New York City for a few days, followed by a cruise up
the northern coast into Nova Scotia. They've spent days planning every detail
to make sure everyone has a wonderful time.
Once they return, Tammy
and Bo will head to Amarillo for a short getaway, but they'll be back before
Thanksgiving. So for now, our plans are on pause—waiting until everyone’s home
and the family is all together again.
(PS to Annie, they are saying at an AIR B&B in New Jersey!)
4 . If we
can arrange an autumn trip or get away for you, where will you choose to go and
why?
I've
always heard—and the photos certainly confirm it—that New England in the fall
is breathtaking. I'd love to take a back road trip through those northern
states, winding through golden leaves and quiet towns, soaking in every bit of
that autumn charm.
There’s
something sacred about the changing seasons. As the trees let go of their
leaves, I’m reminded of how God invites us to release what’s past and trust Him
with what’s ahead. The quiet roads, the crisp air, the fiery colors—they
whisper of His artistry and His presence in every detail.
“You
crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” — Psalm
65:11

peace of God be with you.
Until
Next Time
Hello Mary, wonderful post! Thankfully the temperatures are more comfortable here in Montreal now and the leaves are very slowly starting to change colour! I love the Autumn! I have been to Vermont many times in the past and I can tell you that Autumn is absolutely gorgeous there! Between Vermont and here in Quebec, we have the most beautiful and dramatic Autumn colours! It really is a sight to behold!
ReplyDeleteI will be taking photos here in Montreal of the beautiful Autumn leaves and the colours are absolutely stunning!
I will share these beautiful Autumn photos on my upcoming blog posts for everyone to enjoy!
I absolutely enjoyed this post, dear Mary, and how you talk about God inviting us to release what is past! Oh yes!
Thank you so much for sharing, and God bless you!
Sounds like your family is having a wonderful vacation! It's too bad you couldn't have gone with them! And yes, New England is gorgeous in the fall. We used to live there and I loved it so much, except for all the "leaf peepers" (tourists) who came and clogged up all the roads and stores and hotels for the season. Those of us who lived there just had to find secret back roads to get around all the traffic. It was a mad house! But other than that, it was beautiful! LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy friend and your girls may be on the same New England cruise! That's one of the leading experiences on my "bucket list", but Tom's health challenges have pretty much put everything on hold.
ReplyDeleteThanks to friends' gems like yours, I'm going to focus on what God has in store and be glad in it.
Have a beautiful day friend.

We have some Fall trees changing out here but I would love to go to the East coast and see that area in Autumn. I sure hope you get some cool sweater weather SOON.
ReplyDeleteYou gave us a beautiful post, Mary! I love your answers to the Tuesday 4!! Your kids seem to have a lovely vacation planned ahead! It's so great that they can travel together and make memories to last a lifetime! Sending a hug! xo
ReplyDeleteLovely post. Happy Fall.
ReplyDeleteI love the scripture verse. It's true that Fall colours in the east are spectacular. Your family members might see some in Nova Scotia though it might still be too early. I hope you get sweater weather soon.
ReplyDeleteIt is hot at my house too and will be for a bit. I am so excited to decorate for fall though. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!
