This is my first time to join Happy Homemaker Monday, hosted by
FYI: This post was written last Saturday afternoon.
The weather.....
We've been overcast most of the week, yet we've had very little rain. We're forecast for rain this weekend, hope it happens. No storms please.
Right now I am....
Enjoying a cold cucumber, sliced and smothered in Ranch dressing.
Thinking....
Of one thing and another, nothing special on my mind today.
On my reading pile....
It seems I'm collecting books faster than I'm reading them. I do have quite a pile. Right now I'm into cozy mysteries, they're entertaining and easy reads.
On my TV.....
Although the TV is almost always on, these days I mostly watch the local news and weather. I also watch HGTV and the Food Network, but not a lot.
Favorite blog post last week (mine or other)....
I visit a lot of blogs, they're all great, there is no way could I choose just one favorite.
Something fun to share....
Henry singing . . .
Blog hopping (newly discovered blog)....
Just so happens to be,
The Diary of a Stay at Home Mom!
On the menu for this week....
Mr D is doing a stir-fry with squash, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms and beef he cut from left over ribs. Served with cornbread and iced sweet tea. Yummy.
On my to do list....
Mercy me, I need to dust this house. Dust bunnies have taken over, YIKES!
In the craft basket....
Is diamond art a craft? I think so.
Looking forward to this week....
Pretty afternoons on the porch, maybe reading or just to enjoy being outside.
Looking around the house....
From the camera....
I've shared this picture in the past, it's a great photo of Mr D and his brother, Marvin, doing what they love.
On my prayer list.....
Family, friends, Israel and the middle east, our president, our country, and salvation for all.
Bible verse, Devotional....
“Lo, I am with you always” is a promise from
Jesus assuring believers of His perpetual presence and support, even to the end
of the age (Matthew 28:20).
This phrase is part of the Great Commission, where Jesus instructs His disciples to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching obedience to His commands. He concludes with the assurance: “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world,” emphasizing that His presence will accompany believers in every circumstance, providing guidance, comfort, and strength throughout their mission and life.
Until Next Time
