Just As I Am

Just as I am, without one plea,
but that thy blood was shed for me,
and that thou bidst me come to thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not
to rid my soul of one dark blot,
to thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
with many a conflict, many a doubt,
fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Have a blessed SonDay!

Until Next Time

Wow, Mary, this verse has been coming a lot for me lately. I guess it's no accident I clicked over here this afternoon!

  3. Love that old invitational hymn. Great to share this first SONday of 2016. So glad He accepts me just as I am.

  4. I love that song and your verses today! The old hymns are the ones that make me close my eyes and feel the love of Jesus wash over me with the notes!

  5. I also love this old hymn and Terri says it so well, "the ones that make me close my eyes and feel the love of Jesus..."
