Friday Foto Friends

I haven't been out taking pictures lately, so I've been looking through some of my old pics to share today.  I think I've found the perfect few!!  Groundhog Day was just a couple of days ago and everyone was excited to hear Mr. Groundhog didn't see his shadow, which means we're in for an early spring!

SPRING BEAUTIFUL SPRING

I decided to get a head start on the season with pictures!  These were taken on and around my porch in years past.  Hope you enjoy.

This is where I sit with my coffee, bible and dogbabies!
Looks like a flower jungle.  That's me in the window, taking the picture!

Morning Glory, Hibiscus and Poinsettia. Yes, a poinsettia blooming in the summer!

I don't know what this is, it was a hanging basket that I thought was so pretty.  When I got it home I didn't hang it, I just sit it on a plant stand.  It might be some type of rose.  Anyone know?

Hibiscus, I love yellow Hibiscus! A Climbing Rose and Lantana.

All these flowers really make me ready for spring.  The only thing wrong with that is summer comes next.  The summer temps and humidity that we have here pretty much keep me in the house.

Can't we just have spring, fall and winter?

No, of course not, it's not God's plan.  And I know His plan is best even when I'm sweaty and stinky!

I still have a lot of days to enjoy before the summer heat gets here!

Today I'm linking with Deb at  Breathing In Grace for
Friday Foto Friends!
Stop by and say hello!

Too often we dwell on the negatives.  This weighs us down.  Look for the upside.  See light rather than the dark side.  Search for positive energy, it will transform your attitude.  It will empower you and reignite your passion.
(Be Happy by Patrick Lindsay)

Keep sowing your seeds,
for you never know
which one will grow ~
perhaps they all will!

Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle with your hands in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening planting will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
Ecclesiastes 11:6

Until Next Time
Always looking for the upside!

  1. Oh Mary, your porch looks so inviting, I am yearning for spring too, it is the season of renewal. If we lived closer to each other, I would come visit with my favorite lemon cake and we could sip tea and talk the afternoon long. :)

    Hugs,
