Wednesday's Wisdom

Proverbs 4:5
Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.

Wisdom comes with age, according to Job. Wisdom is something that the writer of Proverbs said that we should “get” and not forget. He said it is the principal thing. He even says while you’re at it, get understanding too. He says wisdom and understanding are better than gold and silver.

Job 12:12
Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days.

The only true wisdom is to be always prepared to meet God, to put nothing off which concerns eternity and to live like men ready to depart at any moment.

  4. Great post Mary and that owl is so cute! I think that when we are blessed with wisdom as we walk with God, we should share it with others. Speaking the truth in love. I enjoyed my visit today!

  5. When people wish they were younger, I always think that while a younger body would be nice, I treasure the wisdom that has come with maturity and I wouldn't want to lose that!!
