Isaiah, a Bible within the Bible

 There are 66 books in the Bible.
There are 66 chapters in Isaiah.
Isaiah, a Bible within the Bible.

This morning I opened my Bible to The Book of Isaiah and somewhere in time I had hi-lited these scriptures.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
 If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
 But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Isaiah 1:18-20

What the world needs, coming together, with the Lord's guidance, to reason out our differences.

How can something so easy be so hard for so many people?

And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
Job 2:2

Until Next Time

  1. Hi Mary, I enjoyed your post. We need to be one nation under God. Only God knows what His plans are for our country and we need to keep praying. Enjoy your weekend.

  4. I LOVE the book of Isaiah. It is so full of prophetic wisdom and truth and tells about our Savior way before He was born. Next to Psalms, Isaiah is my favorite Old Testament book. Thank you for sharing this. We need to be in the Word of God daily. God's Word is being played out before our eyes these days.

  5. Always seems harder to do good than to do bad. Praying that things change.
