It's officially Blue Monday . . . a Monday set aside on the 3rd Monday of January, it's to recognize bills coming due from Christmas shopping and realizing resolutions aren't getting done.
Enough of that, for me, it's Blue Monday simply because

An Old Cross Stitch.
I love this pattern, I love blue, I love hearts and I love little houses. AND I have serveral friends who love their cat babies. What's that old saying,? The days are long but the years are short, that's an apt thing to say because it sure doesn't seem like it's been 9 years since I stitched this piece.

Mr D and I are so proud of this young lady!
Emma made the A/B honor roll and was made a Lion Citizen. Emma is Merica's big sister and our second born great grand. She is so easy to love.
Notice her BLUE jeans, she fits right in for Blue Monday :)

No blueness around here...ohhhhhh...well, that is not true...our son is always on our mind...but that is a different kind of blue-more like grief...and I guess that is blue, grin. ReplyDeleteYes, sure is nice having a washing machine but no dryer for me. I still hang our clothes outside when it's nice and on a big drying rack when it is too cold in the winter. I put it over a heating vent and you'd be surprised how fast they dry!
I tend to go overboard with the blue :) I've had to start adding in other colors :) I enjoy cross stitching! That's a cute canvas you did. Cute g-granddaughter too :)
