I haven't been spending much time on the porch these days. The heat and humidity are so bad making it very uncomfortable out there! I can tolerate the heat, the porch is covered giving shade and I have a fan that keeps the air moving....but there is no controlling the humidity. It must be from all the rain we've had this year. The minute I open the door my glasses fog over and there is a sense of dampness that overcomes me.
Do I talk about the weather too much? Sorry if I do....it's always on my mind! We need to move to Alaska!!
Now, with all that said.....
I was out with the dogbabies and noticed how pretty the flowers were looking...I think they like all the moisture in the air!

Do you see my new knock-out roses? It has doubled in size since I set it out a few weeks ago, and just look at all the pretty blooms!
These little flowers are so white that they seem to sparkle in the sunshine. Mr D loves this plant.
A little succulent planted in one of my old sugar bowls!
Even the artificial rose vine on the swing is pretty to look at!!
It's fun to be outside, I do enjoy it...
even in this very hot and humid weather!
(lol, I just can't get let it go...it's hot and humid!)
Thank you God for the world so sweet,
Thank you God for all this heat,
Thank you God for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything. -
Always Thankful!

My life had a price tag, but Jesus paid it all with His blood.
Oh Mary, you are certainly forgiven for talking about the weather. I begin to whine about the heat and humidity from May until about mid October so I understand! The flowers are lovely and I really that little succulent plant in the sugar bowl. Very unique. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hear you so well about the weather. We are in Texas too and it is hot, hot, hot. I love your flowers, and our roses have bloomed so well, and all the other flowers. I also like those little periwinkles. They are so sweet and mine are the same color as yours. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI love your flowers...you do not complain about the weather--- I know its not as hot and humid here as it is Texas or down south---but it is humid here...I so enjoy the 4 seasons here. ANYWAYS--digressing, very lovely Firday Foto.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers...it's hot and humid here, too...can't take extreme heat or cold the older I'm getting. Thanks so much for linking up your pretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteWell Mary, you can have some of our cold weather, I don't really like it but won't complain as we have had a really mild winter so far. And as you say, your flowers seem to be enjoying the moisture in the air :)

I love to be out doors too,Mary, but can only sit there early in the mornings before it gets too hot. Front Porch or Patio sitting is my favorite times of the day, hope yours is a blessed one.
ReplyDeleteLove your flowers.
It looks delightful there, sorry the heat and humidity are putting a damper on your enjoyment of the outdoor. Cute little planter!!
