Seeing Green!!

I'm looking forward to spring, how about you?
Is that green I see?!  Just a little but it sure made me happy!

This plant survived the winter. . . barely!

Can't decide if I want to paint this friendly butterfly or let him stay like he is...as I was typing I thought to myself, 'is the rust on his wings the same as the silver on my head?' lol

Decision made, he stays like he is!!  I'll keep my silver and he can keep his rust.

I'm ready for full, lush plants,  green, green grass and porch sitting.

  5. Do you know that rust is "in"? There's even a 'recipe' so you can make new things look old and rusty. Doesn't that just take the cake!!!

  6. Isn't it wonderful to see the signs of spring springing up? And I Love the rusty butterfly! He has such "character"!! isn't that what happens to us as we age and rust? We develop more "character"! Lol. Some of us are just plain "characters". Ha Ha. Love your post today. Made me smile.

  9. I took a walk around our backyard the other afternoon and found some signs of spring poking up. We are forecast for 3-6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow...so I hope they don't poke up much further or they are going to be very cold.

  13. I am seeing green too. I have only worked in my roses thus far, but there is greening everywhere. My daffodils are up, not blooming just yet. There are buds on everything. I am excited. I would definitely leave the little butterfly as he is.

    1. Thank you Sandi. We are well, we have a heavy burden right now but we are leaning on God for strength. We have a close family member that has so many issues right now. Your prayers are appreciated.
