Friday Foto Friends

Porch-sitting weather is here!
We've been busy cleaning and planting.  I'm not going to have as many pot plants as I've had in the past.  My porch is very small and it can get very crowded very fast if I'm not careful.

One of my favorite flowers in the hibiscus.  We found this one at our local hardware store, it is so pretty and healthy.  Now I need a red one.....what did I say about crowding?!!

 Just one more😊

I always enjoy the sun shining on the plants.

The backyard was full of buttercups, the yardman came to mow and now they're gone. 😥

Merica Jo is a happy baby, she's sitting up now and beginning to crawl.

It was warm enough Easter weekend for the girls to enjoy the pool for a little while in afternoon.

  2. Merica Jo is adorable and the little girls in the pool are, too. They look so happy with those sweet smiles. I am anxious to get started with planting. I think there won't be any more freezes here, so guess I need to get with it. I love hibiscus, too.

  3. I love hibiscus. They used to grow in my garden in France where it was quite hot, but here they would have to be indoors.

  5. Every year I say I'm not going to have so many pots of plants and every year without fail I can't resist and end up with too many. It's the watering that takes so long every evening when it's hot and dry. Oh well, we keep trying to buy less, right?

  6. I admire all you green thumbed people.....I have a black thumb. The only thing I cannot kill is hostas and impatiens.

  9. The children all look so happy. I bet they bring you a lot of joy too. Your garden is already looking great. I love container gardening. I seem to have more success with it than gardening in the soil on the land.

  12. Beautiful flower. My grass is covered with dogwood blooms, so sorry to see them stop blooming. Enjoy those grandbabies, they sure do grow up fast.

  13. What cuties you have here! They grow so fast, don't they? Since I now live in an apartment, plants in pots is about all I can do. I don't have much space either. I'm trying to figure out what plants to get. Yours are lovely. Have a blessed day.

  14. Love your porch plants! Enjoy them and don't worry about how many! Just enjoy what you enjoy! Sorry about the buttercups. I hate to see the wildflowers mowed down too. The girls are so cute. What a blessing to have them nearby. Enjoy your porch sitting days! So glad they have finally arrived!

  15. Hibiscus always remind me of the school days where I had to dissect flowers to learn the internal parts.
