Right Here Right Now and Black & White Wednesday on Thursday!

Sharing this meme from Debi at Barefoot Mom. Stop by and tell her hello!

Right Here, Right Now

What I'm wearing...
Here it is noon and I'm still in my pj's. You can do that when you're retired.

What I'm reading...

Just finished a great book by Debbie Macomber, now I'm waiting for Guernsey Potato Peel Society.

What's happening in my kitchen...

Not much happens in my kitchen anymore....except coffee...coffee is always ready!

What's outside my window...

Heat and humidity...supposed to reach 100* today. That's sweatin' weather.

What I'm thankful for...
Why does this question always stump me? There is so much it's hard to choose just one or two. Let's just say I am so thankful for all God has provided,
you do know He provides everything.

What I'm smelling...
The dogbabies, whew, they need a bath. Better get that done ASAP!

What I'm hearing...
The sound of the washing machine. It'll buzz in a minute letting me know it's the dryers turn!

What I'm crafting...

I try each day to do a new page in my praise journal.

What's on my mind...

I need to make an appointment to get my hair cut. Was going to do that yesterday and let the day go by without getting it done. Have I ever mentioned that I am the biggest and worst procrastinator. Yep, I am. {sigh}

Words live by...

I can't even guess how many times I have prayed these words.....so many!

I missed linking up with Teri yesterday for Black & White Wednesday, so I'm linking up today!

My first grade picture. The scarf around my neck was given to me by my older brother. He had bought it for his girlfriend, they broke up and I got the scarf.
I was a happy little girl.

I debated on showing this one..just look at all those character lines! 😊
This drawing was done by one of the 'thingy's' on facebook.

Until Next Time
Jesus says in John 14:6
"I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.

  1. So glad I found your blog! Character lines are a beauty and a blessing. I love The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society! I read it once and listened to the audiobook once. I saw that Netflix turned it into a movie, but I'm afraid they might have ruined it so I probably won't watch. Love the scarf story!

  2. I enjoyed the answers to your memes! They are always fun and you get to know so much about people that way. I think character lines are well earned and I love yours from FB. I haven't gotten the courage to do that yet.

  7. Oh man, I always wanted a big brother. I like the memory of how you inherited the scarf. Your brother must have been quite a bit older than you. I pretended for a while that I did. It's hot here, too, although it isn't that humid.

Ha ha! Can I come over? :-)

    A praise journal! That's a good idea.

I like the "drawing" -- the lines add character!

  10. Love your blog and glad you are back. I love maccomber books but this one was my least favorite. I received a copy from Amazon to review and felt I had to be honest. I always try to be nice when I review but this one had too many convoluted stories and was not a sweet romance like she writes. It was dark and upsetting and keeping the characters various stories and themes straight didn't work. You can tell that not only am I an avid reader and writer, educator also. I hope she returns to her genre and I will continue to read everyone. One of my favorite books this year was Woman in the Window-another was Wife between Us- Woman in Cabin 10...psychological mysteries but when one reads that genre one knows what to expect. Another favorite that was true to life and totally realistic-the book Clinton and Patterson wrote!! Great story. I read four to five books a week for pleasure and for Amazon! Read a book by favorite author who also wrote outside he box and language so bad had to quit-no reason for that!!! Love love to read your blogs-I tried to,start one but the info they sent all about cookies etc was disturbing so I deleted it!
