Wednesday's Wisdom

In our faith we follow in someone's steps.  A parent, a teacher, a hero ~ none of us are the first to walk the trail.  All of us have someone we follow.

In our faith we leave footprints to guide others.  A child, a friend, a recent convert.  None should be left to walk the trail alone.

Today's Wisdom:
Always watch your step!

God's Inspirational Promises By Max Lucado

Several of the GLOW ladies are going on a road trip this weekend, I just hate that I'm not up to going.  They are going to The Lavender Festival!! I know they will have such a good time.

Here we are in 2016, leaving to go see the bluebonnets.  It was a great trip!!

Until Next Time

  1. A wonderful and inspiring post. Sorry you could not join the Glows but hopefully there will be another opportunity when you are up to it. I've only participated a very few times and always thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship.

  7. Thank you, Mary. Hopefully, the footsteps we leave speak of Jesus. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my mother. I really wanted to be like her. Then I realized she walked in the footsteps of Jesus and He's the one she would want me to follow. I'm sorry you didn't get to go on the trip. Get well.

  10. I'm so sorry you can't go to the Lavender Festival. I'm sure it would have been a fun trip. Maybe you can console yourself by going to a little shop that sells Lavender sachets and such and treat yourself.

  11. Sorry you can't make the trip-I understand-yesterday knee went out getting in daughtyer's van-this arthritis since my teens and now the osteoporosis and fibromyalgia-oh well...could be worse-the strokes that started in 20's could have incapacitated me-I became a teacher in my 40's just to beat those things-not really-it was a lifelong dream!!! Retired now and moved few months ago near daughter in Indy and spend much time in Florida at son. Your blog is fascinating! I tried to do a blog but couldn't get it to work and since I am pretty tech know how-alas!!! I keep getting emails from people who have tried my blog but it just didn't do it so I tried to delete it on iPad and iPhone!!!
Your grand ones adorable-mine are ages 19-3!! So wet
    Keep writing!!!
