Mr Gingerbread Man

I can't resist his happy face, he gives me a happy face too.  He's very old, he came to live with me from Avon many years ago.  I love seeing him every year as the decorations come out of the box to be displayed. I think he loves watching me get in a tither trying to place everything just right.

I found this recipe, maybe Mr Gingerbread and I will make a batch.

Butterscotch pudding, that's interesting, bet it's good.

Precious memories from Christmas past . . .

Me and the girls, Christmas 1967

1970 and there were 3 little girls!

Oh my, by 1976 we had a brother!

It's a wonderful time of year!

  2. I enjoyed your gingerbread man, poem and the pictures from the 60's and 70's. Those were fun times. My children were spread out, born in 74, 77, 86, and 92. Thanks for the recipe also.

I never have tried to make Gingerbread cookies, but I do love the cake too, like Terri above. I may have to make some now that you've got me thinking about it! Merry Christmas!!
