I've been sitting here in mission control, which has been moved to the bedroom, watching the birds swarm around the feeder. Mr D put a feeder right outside the window for me to enjoy.
Just so ya know, mission control is my chair, side table and all the stuff I have on that little table!
Stuff:
Oxygen
Bible
Laptop
Pens and Journals
Magazines and Books
Phone
Lotion
Kleenex
Coffee
Clock
Nail Polish
Need I say more? 👵
Dean and I rode down to Clear Lake yesterday, he had an appointment with the doctor that did his pacemaker. She did an EKG and some sort of test on the pacemaker and all was good. She told him he was doing great.
BTW, I stayed in the car. I'm really leery about getting out too far away from home. I'm still on a level 3 with my oxygen and it takes a lot of battery to maintain that level. Even on that level the portable unit has a hard time maintaining my oxygen at the level it should be. I'll be talking to the doctor about that at my next visit.
Are you ready for Christmas? We (mostly Dean) have decorated the living room, I love sitting in there at night and enjoying the lights. What is it about Christmas lights that make the room seem so much cozier? We won't be with our family for Christmas, I'm still to afraid of getting the virus again. The doctors warned me several times that you can get it a second time. So here I sit, watching the birds and dreaming of a White Christmas. lol
Love to all !! ((hugs))
Until Next Time
I love your photos of your coffee/tea service and all of the Christmas beauty around you. I am happy your hubby has fixed you up a comfy spot to watch the birds and read, use your laptop, etc. so you can relax as you do so. The most important thing is for you to take care of yourself and just take it easy for a while. You've been through a lot, and God was very gracious to bring you safely back home to your family and loved ones. We are all very thankful for that, and pray He will keep you safe and healthy for a LONG time. So glad to hear that Mr. D's appt. went well too. You two really have had a time of it. Praise God you are getting stronger day by day. We'll keep you in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Yes, without doubt God has been so gracious to us.
DeleteStaying at home is very sensible. In UK too many people have riisked lives by meeting in their hundreds. Hope you will both soon feel much recovered.
ReplyDeleteWe have too much mingling here too.
DeleteThe Holy Family in that last photo is adorable, I haven't seen one like it, and your cardinal tea set is bright and cheery. You have all the essentials at your command post. I recently treated myself to a Life Application Study Bible, that would be at my command post, as is your Bible. Now your post has reminded me to fill the bird feeders!
ReplyDeleteWe must keep those birdies fed!! Merry Christmas.
DeleteCute term! Doesn't everyone need a Mission Control of their very own?
ReplyDeleteGood idea, your keeping a distance from others at this time. I wonder if the birds don't appreciate having an audience. :)
Beautiful thoughts my friend...when I had Covid back in spring 2019, it took forever to recover. Give yourself time my friend. smiles
ReplyDeleteKeeping in prayer.
I am glad Dean is doing great! Sorry to hear about your oxygen troubles and hope your doctor can make that right for you! Keep us posted, please! Joe and I share Mission Control... a table that is much too cluttered that sits between our recliners. Cute way to name it!! Love & hugs! xo
