Peace With God

 “Off to one side sits a group of shepherds. They sit silently on the floor, perhaps perplexed, perhaps in awe, no doubt in amazement. Their night watch had been interrupted by an explosion of light from heaven and a symphony of angels. God goes to those who have time to hear him–and so on this cloudless night he went to simple shepherds.”

Peace With Others

Great little One!  Whose all embracing birth lifts Earth to Heaven, stoops Heaven to Earth.

Peace In Your Own Heart

From east to west, from shore to shore,

Let every heart awake and sing.

The Holy Child who Mary bore,

The Christ, the everlasting King.

God didn't send Jesus to bring us religion!

He came to make a relationship with God possible.

The following is from The Purpose of Christmas by Rick Warren.  I've posted this for several years because it always makes me stop and realize just how great our God is and how we are connected to Him.  Even those that don't have a relationship, or those who don't believe . . . they are connected to Him.

You may have never realized that every time you check your calendar or refer to a date or write one down, you are using Jesus Christ as your reference point.  Because of Jesus, history is divided into BC (before Christ) and AD (anno Domini, in the year of the Lord).  Every other event in history and every event on your calendar today is dated by how many days and years it has been since Jesus Christ appeared on earth.

Even your birthday is dated by his birthday.

Joy to the World, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;

I'll be so happy when I can see these two lovelies again!

Hazel Kay and her sweet Mommy, Kaylea!

Until Next Time

Merry Christmas
