We're getting snow over most of Texas, and the pictures I've seen are so pretty. Alas, it stopped just the other side of Houston and didn't make it to my area. I love snow, I can say that because we seldom get any and when we do, it melts quickly.
Until Next Time
I love your answers. Oh, you will love that book "Where the Crawdads Sing". That was probably my favorite for last year. I haven't been doing much reading lately and I need to get back to it. Hey, our little church still has a choir. We decided to start singing again instead of just the Praise Team. Everyone is happy to be back, although we are still fewer in numbers than before, and we must sit far apart. But one of the things I love about our little church is the fact that we still have a choir! And we sing hymns, although because of COVID, the congregation really isn't supposed to be singing just yet, but they do sing along in their masks as often as possible...Praying this thing will be over SOON!!! Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteSnowing here as well Mary. It is so pretty and peaceful. As for choirs, I do agree. They are wonderful. Times have really changed in our life time, not just technically but in the way people worship. It is hard sometimes to adjust to change but life does move on. Thankful that God Never Changes.
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your answers Miss Mary and hoping that you and Mr. D are doing well. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers. I love my Kindle Paperwhite too! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary. A fun read!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here. Eventually I believe we'll get some, but not for now. Shucks.
"I'm not a very good writer, it's all I can do to write my blog."
ReplyDeleteYou are a good writer!
Thank you Sandi!!
DeleteI, too, was disappointed this morning to realize we had no snow. I've sure fallen behind in my reading, but thoroughly enjoyed Girl in Cabin 13. Hope you do, as well!
ReplyDeleteSnow is pretty and prettier when it melts quickly!! I can't take the cold anymore! I enjoyed your answers today! Have a good week, dear friend!!
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on Facebook. There's so much negativity on anymore that I hate going and now with them heavily censoring or blocking conservatives is crazy, stupid. I want to scream, "So, it's okay for you to enjoy freedom of speech but when someone differs from you then you just silence them!" I'm sorry I tend to rant sometimes. All is good, I promise! :D Like you it's God who gets me through the hard times. I trust in Him completely! Thanks for sharing. I will have this set of questions up tomorrow. :) Have a good evenign!
Mary,
DeleteI see that you visited my secondary blog. I forgot if a blog author has more than one blog how tricky it is to know which one to visit. No worries! You'll find my answers to Sunday Stealing on my primary blog, Curious as a Cathy. Oops, I just noticed that I misspelled 'evening' in my previous comment. Sorry 'bout that! :) Have a good day. :)
I can sure do some ranting about the censorship that's happening. grrrr Like you, all is good, God is still on His Throne and I'm still holding His hand.
ReplyDeleteLife is a lot like FaceBook. There's lots to enjoy, you just have to ignore all the not-so-good.
ReplyDeleteSorry you didn't get the snow you wanted. Maybe next time.
Hi, I love blue too.
ReplyDeleteShare with me a book review on Where The Crawdads Sing.. I have that one on my list to read too.
Love, Carla
