Hello dear blogger friends.
Things aren't good here in Texas. Power outages everywhere and now water systems are compromised. We're under a 'boil water' advisory, some areas have no water at all.
I have limited use of my laptop and phone. I won't be able to post for a while.
My prayers are with all affected areas.
My prayers are also with Terri @ Your Friend From Florida for the passing of her dear hubby, Joe. So unexpected.
We love you Terri!!
Until I have power restored.
Mary
Praying things get much better quickly in Texas.
ReplyDeleteHope you have power restored soon. We haven't lost power, but have been without water most of last night and today. When it came back on, I filled up several pots and pitchers and have been boiling away. Our kids spent Monday night with us as they had no power from 2am Monday until 4pm yesterday. We had temperatures below zero Monday night and had several inches of snow. Today it is up in the 20's.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I Praying you stay safe and that things are restored soon. ♥
ReplyDeletePraying for you and all your friends and family who may be affected by these storms and power outages. I can only imaging how hard this must be when it is also so cold. Praying for all of you to stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing on the news how difficult it is keeping warm out your way and now the boil water advisory adds another hardship. Hopefully things will go back to normal soon. Stay safe and well.
ReplyDeleteI have been praying for the people of Texas and indeed everywhere it's so cold. Our daughter had -26F and rolling blackouts for several days. We're finally seeing a bit warmer temps up here in Washington State, so maybe this thing is on it's way out. We had it first and it's leaving here first. Of course, we are used to it so it's a bit easier here although we just got our water back tonight after 6 days. I feel for those of you who aren't used to it and therefore the utilities, etc., aren't prepared for the extreme cold and snow. Prayers for God's protective hand to be covering you all.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Prayers for you guys in Texas. My daughter is near Waco and has not water either. Hoping all clears up soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary:
ReplyDeleteI lived in Texas a long time ago. We had a tornado that demolished houses 2 blocks away.
We were so fortunate not to have any damage to our house.
Praying things get better there and your power is restored!
I also posted on Terri's blog. Such an unexpected loss of Joe.

You have been in my prayers, Mary. I have three half sisters who live in Texas and so far they are all okay. I hope your power is restored by now. Also praying for the power bills that some people are getting. Outrageous. I hope it isn't that way with you.
ReplyDeleteOh my, praying you and all of Texas. Blessings.
