About Thanksgiving
1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving show/animated show?:
I've always enjoyed watching the parades!
2. What is there about Thanksgiving you like the best:
Being together with family, and the family prayer time, giving thanks to the Lord for all He has provided.
3. Favorite Thanksgiving/holiday song?:
I don't have a favorite song for Thanksgiving.
4. If you have an all holiday music radio station when do you start listening to it?:
There are several stations that play Christmas music which I enjoy, My 'go-to' station is KHCB (Keeping Him Close By) 105.7 Christian Radio. I'm usually listening to Christmas music the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Mary,
ReplyDeleteI forgot about the parades. Yes, I like watching Macy's annual event. For years, we couldn't watch it because we were traveling but for the last several we've been able to enjoy the event. Last year was a bummer, though. I hope they put it on this year. Have a blessed day!
Curious as a Cathy
I haven't watched the parade in a while, but now I want to! I hope it will be better this year. I know last year was no fun. I enjoyed your answers, and this has gotten me in the mood for Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving...no pressure of gifts, etc., just good food and family fun and thankfulness to God!
ReplyDeleteWe always watch the parade and I start listening to Christmas music in November. I love it!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I always enjoyed the parades too
ReplyDeleteParades and family! Yes
ReplyDeleteTrue, the parade is always fun to watch. I start listening to Christmas music after Thanksgiving too.
ReplyDeleteThe Macy's Thanksgiving Parade was always a must but it has become so commercial and the Broadway actors have taken over the bands. Still, it is certainly the marker of the beginning of the holiday season!! Another fun Tuesday 4!! xo
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched the Macy Thanksgiving Parade, since, well, I was forced to watch it on the old B&W in the 60s. Guess it's not my cup of tea. *giggle* Our local Faith Riders motorcycle group is in the annual Christmas Parade here in SE Georgia. That's the only one I enjoy anymore.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers.
Blessings.

I always start to listen to my Christmas CD's much earlier than most people do. I find the old carols so comforting. I'm not much for any jazzy ones though. Same with my hymns. Please don't anyone mess with them.
ReplyDeleteI agree!!!
DeleteMy mother and father LOVED the parades! Appointment television.
