Time for Sunday Stealing hosted by Bev.
To celebrate her birthday, here are some questions related to age:
1. What is the best thing about your birthday?
What's that old saying? Another year older, another year wiser. At my age I would say the best thing is I'm a wise old owl.☺
2. What is your favorite thing to do for your birthday?
We usually go out to eat at a favorite restaurant.
3. What’s one thing you learned in the past year?
I'm learning to lean on God more everyday. He is my Rock.
4. What do you wish for in the next year?
World peace and a better economy.
5. What’s the best thing about turning a year older?
Another year to be with my family and to watch my grandchildren grow.
6. What was the most fun thing you did in the last year?
Nothing special that I can think of, I always enjoy my GLOW time and the anniversary party the kids had for Mr D and myself was great.
7. If you could understand any animal, which would it be?
Our pets, it would be wonderful to know how they really feel.☺
8. What is something that used to be hard, but is now easy?
9. If you could only keep one thing in your room, what would it be?
The bed!
10. Which person makes you laugh the most? Why?
Mr D. We have a lot of fun together.
11. If you could go back in time, when and where would you go?
I would love to go back and fall in love with Mr D all over again. We had a wonderful courtship.
12. If you were to bury a secret treasure, where would you bury it?
No place like home, I would bury it in my back yard.
13. What is your favorite memory?
I will be 78 years old next week, I have been married for 60 years, I have 4 children, 3 are married and have families of their own. Two of my daughters are grandmothers . . . I have too many wonderful and precious memories to have just one favorite. I am truly blessed.
14. How have you helped others lately?
My daughter has been out of down for the last week, we have helped take care of their precious dogbabies.
15. If you had to repeat a day over & over, how you'd want it to go?
Peace and love, forgiveness and kindness, feeling God's presence, enjoying all He has provided each and every day.
