Good bye October!
It's been grand but it's time for you to move on and let the wonderful months of November and December begin.
Wasn't it just a few days ago that I was complaining about the perilous drought and heat happening around me. Now here I am, enjoying this day with temps in the 40's and already looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope to enjoy everyday because I know in the blink of an eye it will be January and we'll be welcoming the New Year.
I just put two pot pies in the oven for our lunch and now sitting at the kitchen table, listening to Christian radio and watching the birds at the feeder just outside my window. I'm still cozy in my warm pj's and I'm still sipping on my last cup of coffee for the morning. Life is good♥
I started my November scriptures today, it's only a day early and I finished October early. I love writing scriptures each morning, it's a great way to start my. day, it brings so much peace.
This scripture plan is The Family of God, I hope to write two or three scriptures per day so I can do another November plan about giving thanks.
It's been about six weeks since my last post, seems I need a break every now and then to regroup and refresh.
It's good to be back.
Always remember, the God of the mountain is also the God of the valley.
Blessings to all,
Until Next Time
So good to see you today!
ReplyDeleteThank you, hope you're doing well.☺♥
DeleteIt is good to see your Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem side message.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the Family of God teaching about? I think it must mean the Believers or maybe the genealogy of Christ?
I just started, it looks to be more about the genealogy of Christ.
DeleteFirst day scriptures are Genesis 17:1-5, second day is Genesis 17:6-9.
DeleteThanks. I'll look up those scriptures.
DeleteRegarding your comment, the man in the video is Mark Murchison. If you search for his name on You Tube you will find his channel. The author of the book passed away some time ago, so he does not have anything on You Tube as far as I know.
I just finished reading the book of Romans and start Corinthians tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you posting again.
Thank you ☺♥
DeleteIt's good to 'see' you again, Mary! We've just begun studying Haggai -- short, but gosh, it packs a punch.
ReplyDeleteI bet that's a great study!!!
DeleteHello, Mary! Good to see your post. I tried writing Scriptures but I just don't seem to have the discipline to keep up with it. I would love to see how you do your though. Maybe it would give me the inspiration I need.
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,
Pam
I'll try and do a post with pictures of my journal. ☺♥
DeleteHi Mary, Lovely to see a post from you today. Time sure does fly by !!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what kind of birds visit your feeder. Mine are mainly Chickadees; that's okay because I find them to be such happy go lucky cheerful little birds. 🧡🧡🧡

Hi GM! Mostly sparrows come to my feeder. They are so small 10 of them easily fit on the feeder. Sometimes they fight for a spot, little stinkers.
DeleteA couple of summers ago I wrote the Psalms out. I think it makes you think about the scriptures more when you write them out.
ReplyDeleteHow were your pot pies? That sounds like a good meal. I think I may make a pot pie for dinner tomorrow.
Blessings,
Betsy
