We finally decided it was time to bring in the doctor!
Mr D and I just can't seem to kick this 'thing' we have so we've called in the troops.
Our PCP is wonderful and he did a televisit with us this morning, now we don't have to get out and that made us happy. We're not worse, we're just not better. {{sigh}} It's time leave the OTC and get on something prescribed, ie anti-biotic.
I have a very special date on the 18th that I don't want to miss. My GLOW group will be celebrating 10 years together. I haven't missed an anniversary yet and I sure don't want to miss now.
Friday Favorite:
My Friday Favorite has to be this picture of Henry taken Christmas morning when he first saw all the gifts under the tree from Santa!
"Grandchildren are the crown of the aged." – Proverbs 17:6
"A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty." – Unknown
Not a thing on my to-do list, so I'll be winging it today. I think I'll just set and rock.
There in my Father's home, safe and at rest,
There in my Savior's love, perfectly blest;
Age after age to be,
Nearer my God to Thee.
Nearer, my God, to Thee,
Nearer to Thee!
There in my Savior's love, perfectly blest;
Age after age to be,
Nearer my God to Thee.
Nearer, my God, to Thee,
Nearer to Thee!
Blessings to All
Until Next Time
I'm so glad y'all elected to consult a higher authority. (Second best H.A. that is!) That expression on Henry's face is absolutely precious ... like something you'd see in a Hallmark commercial. Thank you for sharing your joy with us today!
ReplyDeleteI adore that photo of Henry! His joy and excitement is wonderful to behold!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you saw your PCP and got some antibiotics. This stuff just doesn't want to give up. I had to resort to antibiotics too when I had it and that did the trick. I hope you're feeling better very soon so you don't miss your GLOW anniversary.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I'm so glad you consulted the Dr. and got some good meds to help you kick this bug once and for all. My sister has been pretty sick too, and had to get antibiotics and other stuff. It's no fun being sick anytime! I do hope you will be well for your GLOW Anniversary meeting! Praying! Oh, I LOVE that picture of Henry! That is too cute! That should be on a Christmas card or something...it's just precious! I love it. Thanks for sharing it with us. I love the picture of the two with Santa also. They are just adorable kids. What a blessing to be able to live near enough to enjoy them! You are blessed and so are they!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you could see your doctor and get some stronger meds to fight your nasty infection. Hoping you are up for the big anniversary celebration on the 18th. Keep us posted!!
