God Loves Older Women

A dear GLOW sister has
gone home.
My heart is sad because
our little group will miss her so much.
She was a quiet lady but
still gave so much of herself to our little group.
She loved to cook and
bake, and always had something great for
us on special occasions.
If you were sick, she would usually show up at your door with something hot and nourishing to eat.
She’s with the Lord now,
something we have talked about many times.
Her heart was weak, something we all knew, and it beat it’s last on
December 7th.
There will always be an
empty chair at our table.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss of your friend. She sounds like a wonderful lady. Isn't it good to know that because of her love for the Lord she is now in His presence and you'll see her again someday soon? Meanwhile I'll pray for all of your GLOW friends as you learn to meet without her in your group.

I'm sorry your lovely friend has passed into the presence of the Lord. Wonderful for her but sad for those who loved her and will miss her.
