Are you an online shopper?  Do you shop Amazon?

Yes and Yes

 It’s so nice to shop from home, it’s not so nice that I can’t touch/feel what I’ve ordered until it’s delivered. I’ve had to return items more than once.  With that said, because of my health issues I’m thankful I can shop online.  Not just Amazon, but other retailers that I like.

“I came, I saw, I added to cart. Thanks, Amazon—my porch is your runway!” 😎📦💃

My favorite cardio? Running to the door when Amazon rings the bell!”🏃‍♀️📦

“That awkward moment when you forget what you ordered… but surprise, it’s Christmas on your porch!” 🎁😂

“I don’t have a shopping problem. I have a delivery addiction.” 📬💸

When Mr D was in the hospital I even ordered my groceries online and had them delivered, it was great.

It seems people are struggling with the turmoil happening around us, spiritually, socially, and even personally, it can feel overwhelming.

 Where Do We Go From Here?

We Look Up, Not Just Around

When the world is shaking, the first place to turn is upward. Psalm 121:1-2 says:

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

God is still on the throne. He is not surprised by the turmoil. His plan for peace, restoration, and justice is eternal. We remember what Jesus said:

"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." 

(John 16:33)

We Root Ourselves in Truth

In an age where lies, fear, and confusion spread like wildfire, we must be people of truth, grounded in Scripture, led by wisdom, and not swayed by headlines or hysteria.
Ephesians 6 tells us to “put on the whole armor of God,” and the very first piece is the belt of truth. That’s our anchor.

We Shine Light in the Darkness

Now more than ever, the world needs people of faith to be steady, kind, bold in love, and grounded in peace.
Matthew 5:14-16 reminds us:

"Ye are the light of the world... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

We don’t have to fix the whole world, but we can shine in our little corner. Be a source of encouragement. Be a safe place for hurting hearts. Stand firm when others are shaken.

We Pray Like Never Before

We may not control the chaos around us, but we can always go to the One who does.
Pray for wisdom. Pray for leaders. Pray for revival. Pray for peace.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says:

“I exhort therefore, that... prayers... be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

 This World is Not Our Home

All of history is moving toward one thing, the return of Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom.
Revelation 21 reminds us that one day there will be:

“No more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

So we watch, we wait, and we walk by faith.  AMEN

 

Our life, our prayers, and our testimony still matter so much. The world may be in turmoil, but God has placed you here for such a time as this. Be an anchor for your family. Be the voice of calm for your friends. Let our faith be a steady lighthouse to those caught in the storms of war and conflict.
