Wednesday Wisdom

Photo from the internet.

🌿 Word of Wisdom for Wednesday:
"Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have."

We live in a world that constantly pushes us to chase more—more success, more possessions, more recognition. But true peace doesn’t come from getting more; it comes from recognizing the blessings already around us.

Contentment doesn’t mean settling for less—it means opening your eyes to see that you already have enough. That morning cup of coffee, the roof over your head, the smile of a loved one, or even the quiet moments of reflection—these are treasures that money can’t buy.

As believers, we are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:6, “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” That’s a heavenly formula: living with a grateful heart brings richness that this world can’t offer.

🕊 A Wednesday Encouragement:

Take a quiet moment today and count your blessings. Not with your head, but with your heart. Breathe in peace, exhale worry. You’re walking through this life with grace and strength—and that’s something to be deeply thankful for.

Here is a scripture plan for contentment, you may write them or just read them.

Happy Wednesday and Blessings to All

Until Next Time

  4. I read in my devotional a couple of days ago that "worry is like a vote of no confidence in God" I will try to remember that.

  5. Mary, how timely this message is! This week, in the middle of the night, the Lord spoke one word to me..."contentment" and now I see your post. I love how the Lord will confirm what he's trying to say to us through various methods. Thank you for sharing :)
