We had a friend reunion at the car wash!
Mr D and I took the car to be washed one day last week. We like Simoniz Car Wash because they have a small lobby with glass windows where you can watch the cars go by as they are being washed. It was busy that day so we sat down expecting a long wait. A couple walked by, we looked at each other, hmmm....we know them!! Yes, it was some old friends we hadn't seen in ages. Hugs were exchanged and it seemed we were all talking at the same time. I then noticed a lady walking by....oh my goodness!! It was the daughter of the pastor who married Dean and I, a long time ago. It was so good to see her. As our old friends were leaving another dear friend came along and we sat and visited with her while she waited for her car to be done.
It was the best of times and we were there much longer than it took for our car to be washed. We didn't care, we loved seeing these dear friends and catching up on all their news.
I love when God orchestrates these wonderful days.
THANKFUL
Until Next Time

Don't you just love it when God orchestrates something like that...even at the car wash? He is so good to us!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it something. You never know how a day will turn out or who you will meet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet blessing. It makes me think about what a reunion we'll have in heaven, Ms. Mary...we'll know each other and get to sit and talk and talk and talk! Such a precious thought!
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteLove how God blessed you at the car wash! What a wonderful surprise...but no surprise to Him. He most likely had a hand in that, and it was a "clean way" to see old friends. So happy for you! Hope you are having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteMissing you Mary, hope you're ok.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sylvia...I'll be back, sometimes I just lose my motivation. Takes a few days to regroup!! Love Ya!
