Monday Morning Coffee Talk

I saw this on facebook and just had to share.

Happiness is Homemade!

I love that.

We can make our own happiness.

BTW, just so ya know, that kitchen makes me happy!

Happiness usually comes from the simplest things that are all around us.

Watching the birds gather around the feeder each morning makes me happy.

As soon as the bed is made each morning I pull back the drapes so I can see the birds fluttering around trying to be first to eat.  I think the most I've counted on the feeder at one time was eight, so many more have to wait their turn.  Sometimes a bully comes and literally pushes another bird off the feeder.  tsk tsk tsk!

Oh No . . .  Merica has a shiner!

She was playing with a friend and accidently got hit with a stick.  I'm so thankful it wasn't worse.  She bounced right back and all is well.  Her Momma calls her a Little Texas Tornado!

I call her Precious 💗 and she makes me Happy!

I believe I'll be happy today!

Until Next Time

  2. I pray that much happiness comes to you and yours in 2020 Miss Mary. That little shiner doesn't hinder her beauty one bit either! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  6. I like that kitchen, too, and seeing it does make me happy! Your talk of the birds around the feeder does, too. It brings back memories of sitting with my grandmother at her dining room table watching the birds at the feeders right outside the window. Your poor little Merica! Love that her momma calls her a Little Texas Tornado. Too cute! Have a wonderful week, Mary!

Poor Merica...I bet that hurt, but so thankful it didn't get her eyeball. Wow! That's just too close for comfort. Yes, I love watching the birds too...this is their time of the year to gather round the bird feeders and eat to keep warm! Sounds like your word is "Happy"!! That makes me Happy too!! Happy New Year!
