This is one of my favorite facebook pages.
How nice it would be to entertain friends and family on this porch.
Older homes have so much character, I could be comfortable here.
The next picture is for our dear friend Terri D'Orsaneo at Your Friend From Florida and all who have cats!!
Until Next Time
Both of these porches look inviting, but I'm partial to the yellow. Love that sort of architecture! Tom keeps threatening to touch up our (red) front door and now I'm wondering what it would look like in yellow. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Mary!
Oh, how lovely...would love such a neat and clean pretty porch like the first one, where you could actually entertain. The other house is beautiful, but the front porch isn't my idea of where to entertain. It is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by, however! The cat picture is so cute. I am sure Terri will love it when she sees it. I love having you here again!! Wish we could visit on that porch!! Have a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeleteRed and white is a combination I like a lot. The yellow house looks like one I'd like too. I hope you have a pleasant weekend.
ReplyDeleteAwww... love the cowboy cat!! SO CUTE! Thanks for sharing that photo! I agree with you about the beautiful porch. It would be so great for entertaining. I miss the front porches from the good old days! Love ya! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the yellow house. The "Meowdy" Cat with the cowboy had looks like Buffalo Bill.
ReplyDeleteI love that Craftsmen house. We rented one like that back in 1976-8. It had so much character!! So did our first home. I wish we had stayed there. Have a great weekend Mary!
ReplyDeleteThat yellow house is my DREAM home. It's very similar to the house next door to us when we were first married. I loved sitting on the porch and visiting with our elderly neighbors. We so enjoyed visiting with and spending time with them. The first porch is wonderful for entertaining too, but there's something about front porches and a swing. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty. Such a sweet little face.
I hope your weekend is wonderful. Dennis and I are singing tomorrow in church for the first time since we moved back. It's a bit nerve wracking but I'm trying to turn it over to God for His glory.
Blessings,
Betsy
Love the porches. Also, meowdy. 😊
ReplyDeleteYour post put a smile on my face. Especially the cat pic. Grins. I needed that!
