Monday Coffee Talk

I've too many irons in the fire!

I really let last week get ahead of me.  Mr D had a doctor appointment, that was the biggie.  Very thankful to report, ALL IS WELL♥.  The stress test from this year showed improvement from the one two years ago.  We had to celebrate that good news and we did!!

I finally finished the St Pat's cross stitch ~ yea!!  I haven't framed it yet so pictures will be coming, I hope before St Patrick's Day. 😊 I've already started a new pattern, which is another easy one.  I picked up the sampler I've been working on forever, and got a few new stitches done.  Samplers are hard for me but are so pretty when done.  One stitch at a time and the piece will get done!

We've also been doing a lot of clean up on the porch and front of the house.  Spring is in the air and it makes us want to be outside more.  The dogbabies have enjoyed being out for long lengths of time.  They don't stay out long if Mr D and I aren't outside with them.

Tammy's been by for some good visit times, we can talk for ever about anything.
I enjoy her visits so much.

Pour me another cup of coffee
For it is the best in the land
I'll put another nickel in the jukebox
And play Truck Drivin' Man!

I also started another Bible Study on the Book of Psalms.

I'm not really using it as a study, more of a devotional/commentary.  The workbooks usually have great pointers and tips for the scriptures involved.  I enjoy that.

From Chapter One:

Although worship is our gift to God, when we worship with psalms, something happens within us: Hope soars, and we are transformed.  The psalms proclaim the hopes to which we have been called, and in our attempts to bless the living God, we find ourselves blessed.
