I love having my coffee each morning while sitting at the kitchen table. There is a very big window there where I can look out and enjoy the day outside, especially when the sun is shining. When I open the blinds the sun fills my kitchen with light, it's very uplifting. Alas, no sunshine to fill the room today, it's a very gloomy overcast morning.
I sat at the table and enjoyed my coffee missing the beautiful sun rays that usually warms my spirit and heart . . . and then I spotted this little rose . . .
One little rose way down low, peeking out looking for the sunshine too!
Somehow knowing I wasn't alone made me feel so much better.
Thank You Lord

I'm off to the beauty shop this afternoon, long past due for a haircut. Looking forward to visiting all my blog friends later this afternoon.
Wishing you a very happy and blessed day♥
Until Next Time
Hi Mary, I enjoyed your post and the rose poem. I like the name of your group. Our life group women are all senior women. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteFriends are such a wonderful blessing. Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSunny days are surely easier to be thankful for. I do like your poem. Hope you had a good day. Granny M
ReplyDeleteI loved your poem, Mary!! How nice to have that lovely red rose to keep you company while having your coffee!! I get my hair cut next week and know how good it feels!! Enjoy the week, my friend!! xo
ReplyDelete47 years of friendship ... wow, that's worth celebrating! Love your poem.
ReplyDeleteGlow sounds like a wonderful group of women. Some of my friends here at the apartment are old enough to be my mother. It's wonderful to hear their wisdom. One lady is 94 and still goes out and volunteers everyday, Monday through Friday. She drives herself all over. She never takes the elevator, but uses the stairs to get to her apartment. Always a happy smile. She is also our next door neighbor and a joy to me.
ReplyDeleteYour poem is beautiful and so is that sweet rose.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I'm the same way in the morning. e have a big picture window in our dining room and I have breakfast there in the morning and have a cup of tea. I love watching the world come to life every morning! :)
