A little fall in the air this morning with a cool 68*.
I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving and being with all the clan. My daughter Tracey will host the big event in her lovely home.
This is a photo of Tracey and her family taken last June at their son's wedding.

FYI:
More than 500 billion cups of coffee are consumed each year, making coffee the world’s most popular beverage. It is also the world’s most traded commodity, after crude oil.
A prayer from Patsy Clairmont.
Holy One, enter my heart's sanctuary. Purify my intentions. Inspect my thoughts. Create an acceptable place within me for Your Spirit to dwell.
Amen
Entrust everything to God,
and rely on His strength. In His love, we will find true joy, not only because
He is our helper but also because He is our sole Savior, deserving of praise
and glory.
Veteran's Day
And as a nation,
there's no one more deserving of our gratitude and respect than those who have
served in the military—which is why Veterans Day is so incredibly
significant.
Thank you to my brother Wayne who served several tours in Viet Nam and came home. Thank You Lord!
From my journal:
Oh my gosh! That had to be very scary for you both. I'm glad Tammy was there and able to get him to help quickly.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a coffee drinker, but your buttered hotdog buns look wonderful and some hot tea or hot chocolate would be very welcome with them.
The wedding photo is so beautiful. I always love seeing wedding dresses worn by real brides. They always have a glow about them.
Blessings,
Betsy
We drink a lot of hot chocolate when the weather is cold. Hope you're enjoying a great day.☺♥
DeleteHow worrying for you, bit so glad it wasnt as bad as you had thought.
ReplyDeleteOh no on Mr. D...KEEPING IN PRAYER.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda☺♥
DeleteWell, phooey, my comment disappeared again. (Seems lots of that's going 'round lately.) Your family makes such a lovely wedding party; I know your heart is full.
ReplyDeleteLike Linda, I'm lifting prayers for Mr. D's complete recovery!
Thank you so much.☺♥

What a scare with Mr. D. Thankful it wasn't a stroke and I trust he will soon be fine as a fiddle.
ReplyDeleteHello new blogger friend!! Thanks for visiting☺♥
DeleteI love the buttered hot dog bun toast. They also make good garlic toast and/or parmesan cheese toast! Re: Bell's Palsy: My dad had that one time. It lasted a few months if I recall. Thankfully it is nothing bad, but it certainly is scary when it happens, and it also can be uncomfortable for the person, with dry eye issues from the eye being pulled open so much. Praying Mr. D's goes away soon. So thankful that's all it is! Praise God. So glad you have a nice big family near by to check on you, and also to have Thanksgiving with! You are blessed!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am blessed and I thank God for my wonderful family. Mr D is having problems with his eye, that's the worst part about the whole thing. He's very uncomfortable yet he's giving thanks to God that it wasn't a stroke. Thanks for visiting today, praying God's blessings over you♥
DeleteI'm so glad Mr D is going to be just fine. Just has to be patient. :)))
ReplyDeleteI usually toast bread & buns that are getting stale. Then I cover them with cheese and broil. Mmmm.
I used to be more of a tea drinker but now it's coffee for me!
Have a good week. GM
I love cheese toast too. . . served with a bowl of tomato soup, YUMMY. Hope all is well with you☺♥ Thanks for visiting!
