Ah, Mondays—the day that has inspired more sighs than perhaps any other!
But for someone like me, retired (for a long time) and enjoying life, Mondays have an entirely different meaning. No early mornings hitting the floor in a rush, now I enjoy a leisurely start to the week with reflection, faith, and the things that bring me joy.
Now my Mondays are for settling into a peaceful morning with a good devotional, savoring hot cup of coffee, and tending to hobbies that keep my mind sharp and the heart full.
I loved doing this diamond art, the pelicans remind me of Sylvan Beach, where they live in abundance.
Family News:
Grandson Jason married the love of his life, Hannah!
My girls and their hubbys. I plan to have this picture in an 8x10 for my picture wall. Hard for me to realize the 2 oldest girls and their hubbys are retired. WoW
From The Porch:
My little porch is a little haven for me. I enjoy sitting out there among the flowers.
Blessings to All
Until Next Time
Love the photo of the children! Time is certainly flying by! It's also in the 90's here in central Texas.

((hugs)) back to you Donna☺♥
DeleteLovely wedding pics. Congratulations to Jason & Hannah.
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that your temperatures are already in the 90's and it's only the middle of May. I hope you can stay cool and find some times when you can sit outside and enjoy your flowers💗.
Thank you GM ! ☺♥
DeleteCongratulations to Jason and Hannah. What a lovely place for a wedding. It's hard to believe how quickly time is passing. The photo of your children is wonderful. I'm sure that you'll enjoy seeing it often.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Time certainly goes by faster each year! Hope you're doing well.☺♥
DeleteCongratulations to the newlyweds!!! Time is such a thief, isn't it? When I see my grands -- and their babies, too -- it makes me want to grasp each new day with both hands wide open. (Unfortunately, I sometimes forget -- but still ....)
ReplyDeleteYep, I know that feeling. ♥
DeleteCongratulations to Jason and Hannah. Lovely photos of your family.
ReplyDeleteIt was almost too chilly to sit out on our porch. I did, but had to wear a sweat shirt.
It was cloudy here today, so I managed some time on the porch. It was nice.
DeleteYes, it has been very hot here already this week too, in the mid 90's and higher! And we need rain so badly. The family pic is lovely. Such a beautiful family. And I do love that picture of the Bride and Groom! Really sweet! What fun! Yes, Monday's are not so bad now that we are retired. Except for Sundays, every day seems about the same anymore, unless there's something special going on. But that's okay. We enjoy just being relaxed. (((HUGS))) to you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the sweet couple!! I loved seeing the photo of your kids and spouses! A lovely family! Yes, to the heat - here too. I stay inside as much as possible!! Sending a hug! God is so good!
