Monday Coffee Talk
I don't have much to talk about today.
We’ve settled into one of those hot, lazy stretches here on the Texas Gulf Coast — the kind where the air feels heavy and the days drift by slow and quiet.
Heat and Humidity = Uncomfortable!
We've been staying home and staying cool, living day by day as the Lord provides. He certainly provides what we need, right when we need it, and these quiet summer days remind me to rest in that steady goodness.
The house is cool and peaceful which is a blessing, one of those things that God has provided.
So that’s my Monday — Just living gently and letting
the Lord guide each day as it comes.

Nine o’clock isn’t just a number on a clock — it’s a feeling. At nine, my house settles into its rhythm: coffee in hand, shadows stretching the floor from the morning sun, and the day deciding what kind of story it wants to tell.

ReplyDeleteLove what you said about a 9:09 o'clock feeling. I think mine would be 6 (am); there's something so precious about the stillness of our home, the only sounds coming from the wee birds greeting the day. Blessed!

ReplyDeleteOH, I LOVE the cabin! That would be my dream vacation! So wonderful!! And I do like your description of 9:00. Usually here by 9:00 we are finished with breakfast, we are dressed and out the door to run whatever errands need to be run for the day, or take a walk if it's not too hot. Then at 9:00 pm we are usually getting ready for bed. We get up at 5:30 a.m. thanks to a little black cat named "Blackie". LOL. Even though he stays outside at night, he is always right there at the door waiting at 5:30, so I don't want to make him wait too long. He's got us well trained. LOL. Have a blessed rest of your week. I enjoyed ALL of your photos!!
