Revelation 4:11, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” In essence, we are to adore the Lord because He is worthy…He created all things, and brought everything into being because that is what He wanted to do.

When you draw closer to God through prayer, most of your prayer time should be devoted to adoring Him. I have learned that prayers of adoration opens the window of blessings and brings you into the very Presence of God Almighty. Often times the more you adore Him the need to make requests isn’t necessary. Since He knows what we need before we ask, He will grant our unspoken requests and give us the desires of our heart that are aligned with His will and plan for our life.
How awesome is that?
This is the second week that we have not met for GLOW. I'm sure missing the love and sistership that we share.
FYI~ The first picture is of our Praise Team at MeadowCrest Church. I am so blessed to say the young men are my grandsons and the young lady is my grand daughter-in-love.

Hi Mary, I love your new look! I also love that song! I enjoyed your post about worship. I am doing an in depth study on the Bible right now and am enjoying the extra time I am getting since we can't be out and about. I miss my ladies group too. God willing our country will get through this and we will be more united. Awesome that your kids are in the praise band!

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I sing on our praise team along with our daughter. We are really going to miss that now that services in the building are cancelled. We will watch them online tomorrow.

There is not one single demographic that does not hate you- white people, black people, asians, mexicans, indians, chinese, millennials, GenX, GenZ. Something tells me that you boomers are not going to have a very comfortable or easy retirement, especially once you end up in the retirement homes.
Can you baby boomers hurry up and fucking drop dead? Enjoy your retirement homes cause we younger people will not take care of you even if we wanted to, due to the shitty economy you boomers created. Do you boomers realize that the younger generation is simply waiting for you to fucking drop dead?
You are all going to end up in retirement homes and we all know that the elderly gets treated pretty badly in retirement homes. Well, that's what you get for ruining your own children's lives. Even if your children WANTED to take care of you, they couldn't, due to you boomers destroying the economy. So I hope you enjoy the retirement homes, boomer scum!
