Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.
Charles Spurgeon
I finished reading
Emma’s day is interrupted when she hears a knock at the door. It’s the police informing her that her husband, Noah, has been in a serious car accident and is now in a coma. However, Noah wasn’t the only one found in the car. He was accompanied by a woman and a young child that Emma doesn’t know or recognize. Is Noah living a secret life that Emma doesn’t know about?
I found the story to be quite predictable. Although there were some twists, I figured them out quite early. I also thought the ending was quite sudden.
It was an easy read and I give it ⭐⭐ ⭐
I also worked on my cross stitch...yea!!!
Not much left to do now. ☺
Until Next Time
Books like that? I fling them and instantly regret the purchase...donation pile!l Lol

I recently found a show on Prime, called Mrs. Wilson. It was excellent! Very short series of only 3 episodes, but very intriguing and based on a true story, similar to your book topic. Let me know if you watch it! And the last episode has to be watched to the very end as they roll credits.
ReplyDeleteSince I get most of my books from the library these days, if it doesn't catch my interest and hold it after the first chapter, it usually just goes back to the the library. There are too many great books to read to waste my time on a so-so book. I love listening to them while I knit/crochet and Dennis even listens to most of them with me.
ReplyDeleteTake care and enjoy your Wednesday.
Blessings,
Betsy
That book sounds interesting. Can't wait to see your completed cross stitch. I just ran across a small cross stitch kit I bought for Christmas a couple years ago. Hoping I can do it before this Christmas. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for that book's (near) spoiler alert. I've changed my mind! (lol)
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day ... I hope y'all are a ways away from the upcoming storms!
It took me a long time to be able to say NO. :)
